The Rotary Club of Westerville Foundation’s 10th Annual Rotary Honors Vets 5K Run/Walk will be a VIRTUAL event for 2020, with runners and walkers sent their timing devices to complete the 5K on their own within a set period of time.
Our military beneficiary of this wonderful event this year will be SEALKIDS, a special organization that provides educational aid to the children of service men and women in the Navy SEAL special forces. (More info at sealkids.org.)
Participants can complete a 5K course at the time and location of their choosing, between Nov. 5 and Nov.10. Registration packets including T-Shirt, Race Medal and – while supplies last – a Challenge Coin from the SEALKIDS. Race manager Race Penguin will track and post times for participants as usual.

Our annual tribute to United States veterans is staged each year near Veterans’ Day, Nov. 11. With the additional time allowed this year because the 5K is virtual, participants can complete their course anytime over a 6-day period.
