Westerville Central High School graduate Olivia Goodrich has been awarded the $5,000 Rotary Club of Westerville Scholarship for 2021.

Olivia graduated in May from Westerville Central High School, where she was a member of the Rotary-affiliated Interact Club, assisted with our I CAN program that helps teach character education to second-graders across the school district, and was a January 2021 Rotary Club of Westerville Student of the Month.

Olivia also was a member of the Key Club and National Honor Society, and held a job at Aeropostale since 2018. At Central, she also was recognized with the Outstanding Scholar Athlete award, Annual Underclassmen Student Scholar Award and Gold & Silver Service Award.

“Olivia is a natural fit in our Service Above Self model, as she contributed not only to her school community but Westerville community as well,” said Lisa Janszen, chair of the Rotary Club of Westerville Foundation’s Scholarship Committee.

Olivia will attend the University of Cincinnati, where she plans to study business.

About the Rotary Scholarship

Our Rotary Scholarship is available to Westerville students graduating from Westerville Central, Westerville North, Westerville South, or St. Francis DeSales high schools.

The Rotary Club of Westerville has awarded more than $500,000 in college scholarships to Westerville high school graduates over the past 57 years.

The program has grown to a community tradition since the first $500 scholarship for a single student to attend nursing school at Otterbein College was awarded in 1964.
