Registration closed for 2021 Rotary Independence Day 5K

Registration for the Rotary Club of Westerville’s 2021 Independence Day 5K Walk/Run has closed.

Registration for this year’s 5K was online only. No same-day or on-site registration was offered due to COVID precautions.

The final day for packet pickup for those who have registered is today, Friday July 2, at the Polaris Fleet Feet store, 1270 E Powell Rd., from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The 5K takes place at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 3, followed by the Kids Fun Run at 9:15. The event moves this year to the Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave.

Runners & walkers will receive an event T-shirt featuring the Rotary’s new Independence Day celebration logo, and a medal with the same when they cross the finish line. All children participating in the Fun Run receive a nifty event medal.

See you Saturday morning for the 5K at the Sports Complex!
