Since 1964, the Rotary Club of Westerville has awarded more than $500,000 in college scholarships to local high school graduates. The community tradition began with a single $500 scholarship to one student, to attend nursing school at what then was Otterbein College. Today, the scholarship is among the largest local financial awards available to Westerville’s graduating seniors.

For 2022, the Rotary Club of Westerville awarded four Service Above Self Scholarships totaling $20,000. A single $10,000 scholarship was awarded in 2020, and a single $5,000 scholarship was awarded in 2021.
