JOIN US in person for lunch July 8 at the Old Bag of Nails in Uptown Westerville — our first regular weekly lunch of the new Rotary year.

The Villa Milano is undergoing a kitchen renovation, so our lunch July 8 (and July 22) will take place in the third-floor meeting room at the Old Bag, 24. N. State St.

Our speaker and program for the meeting will be Jason Bechtold, the newly named Assistant City Manager in Westerville.

For the last 11 years, Jason was the city’s Economic Development Director. He also will bring and introduce us to his replacement in that role, Rachel Ray.

We look forward to a review of the last 11 years of economic development in the city from Jason. And it’s been a very eventful decade-plus — with major developments in the Westar area, the allowing of alcohol sales in the Uptown District of the former ‘Dry Capital of the World,’ and much much more.

Lunch at Old Bag is $10 and will be pulled pork, salad, roll and your choice of beverage.
