The Rotary Club of Westerville will host 12th District U.S. Rep Troy Balderson (R-Zanesville) as the featured speaker for our luncheon meeting at noon, Dec. 10.
The meeting will take place via Zoom. Join at (one-click) https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8743047403?pwd=TEFVek5RTEV1M2U3YUdRaUVKV2QwZz09 or via the Zoom app with Meeting ID 874 304 7403, Passcode 022056.
We look forward to an update from Troy Dec. 10 about the national political scene, with a local perspective.
Rep. Balderson holds the same U.S. House seat occupied by our neighbor and Genoa Township resident Pat Tiberi, a Northland High School grad, from 2002-2018. Before Tiberi, the 12th District U.S. House seat was held by Westerville area resident and former Gov. John Kasich, from 1984-2002.
Rep. Balderson, a graduate of Zanesville High School, was appointed to fill Tiberi’s unexpired term and in the U.S. House in September 2018. He won election to an unexpired term for the seat in 2019, and just won re-election for a full two-year term on Nov. 3, 2020.
Before pursuing a career in public service, Troy attended Muskingum College and Ohio State University, worked on his family farm and for his family-owned automotive dealership.
