Stay for the Fireworks!

The Concert and Food Truck Festival site is a great place to stick around and catch the Westerville fireworks!

Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to make an Independence Day evening of it!

NOTE: Heritage Park will be closed to residents as a viewing location for the fireworks display, due to safety precautions. The Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave., is the best site for viewing the show! The City also will close Cleveland Avenue between County LIne Road and Heritage Park, from 2-10 p.m.,, to accommodate the expanded celebration!

Fireworks rain date: Same time and location, on Saturday, July 5.

‘Fun Zone’ returns

The City of Westerville will be back with its free Fun Zone entertainment at the Sports Complex for the 2025 Independence Day evening celebration. In fact, with this year’s closing of Cleveland Avenue between County Line Road and Heritage Park, from 2-10p.m., the City youth entertainment zone will stretch from the Westerville Community Center lawn, across Cleveland Avenue, and down to the southern end of the Sports Complex!

Inflatables including a giant slide, performers in patriotic attire and exciting activities like the bungee run, Hungry Hippos game and baseball pitch game will be included. A dining area for visitors patronizing the food trucks will be set up along Cleveland Ave., south of County Line.

The City also again will host lawn games at the south end of the Community Center, 350 N. Cleveland Ave., all evening. The Community Center will be closed to accommodate event setup, traffic and parking.

2025 bands: LTDN (above) and Lee Gantt (below).

This morning our club completed one of our favorite service projects...building beds at Bed Brigade. In just over an hour, we built 28 beds, which means 28 kids will have a safe place to sleep!
