Independence Day Celebration

The Fireworks Show

Westerville’s 2025 Fireworks Display

Beginning at 10 p.m., on Friday, JULY 4, 2025

The Rotary Club of Westerville’s daylong Independence Day Celebration concludes as always with our big Fireworks Show!

The fireworks follow our Free Concert Series at the Westerville Sports Complex, after the last band leaves the stage about 9:45 p.m.

The Fireworks Show will be timed to patriotic music, simulcast live from the concert venue at the Sports Complex as it is broadcast by the Westerville radio station and event sponsor, 104.9 FM The River.

The fireworks will be launched as they have been since 2021, from Heritage Park near Everal Barn. The pyrotechnics display begins at 10 p.m.!

But the best place to catch the Fireworks Show will be the Westerville Sports Complex – the site of our Free Concert Series and Food Truck Festival.

NOTE: Because Heritage Park is the launch site, the park will be closed to visitors as a viewing location for the fireworks display, due to safety precautions.

Residents are invited to make an evening of their Independence Day celebration with us at the Westerville Sports complex, from 5 p.m. through the fireworks! Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, enjoy the concert and food trucks from 5-10 p.m., then stick around for the fireworks!

RAIN DATE: Should inclement weather cause cancellation of the 2025 Westerville Fireworks Show on July 4, the display will be rescheduled for 10 p.m. Saturday, July 5, with the same launch site – Heritage Park.

Another successful workday for our Student Success Center Enhancement Project, this time at Westerville South High School! Club members spent three hours assembling shelving and coat racks and worked together to set up the school's existing supplies in the new space. These improvements ensure that students have easy access to essential items like clothing, hygiene products, and school supplies, helping remove barriers to their success. A huge thank you to our hardworking volunteers for making a difference!
