A former teacher and licensed social worker, Brandy quickly realized after having children that it was difficult for her to give of her time to the community with her kids present — and volunteer opportunities for her young children were far and few between.
That’s when she got her big idea: an organization created specifically to engage children in meaningful service. And that’s when Seeds of Caring was born. Brandy brings to Seeds of Caring a rich background in education, social work, nonprofit programming and management, and an unmistakable passion for helping others learn to be helpers.
When she’s not proudly waving her Seeds of Caring flag, Brandy enjoys heading out to the hiking trails w ith her husband and three kids, traveling, and curling up in her Clintonville home with a book and her dog Annie.
