Students Of The Month

Great kids, great honor from the Rotary Club of Westerville

During the school year (October through May), the Rotary Club of Westerville honors four students from local high schools each month. Working with the local high school principals and counselors, one student each month is chosen from Westerville Central, Westerville North, Westerville South and St. Francis DeSales high schools.

The students, their parents and the school administrators are introduced and honored at our first weekly luncheon each month.

The Rotary Club of Westerville extends its congratulations to these outstanding students and their families, and our thanks to our Westerville City School District and DeSales administrators for their ongoing participation in the Students of the Month program.

County Health Alert returns to Level 3 (Red);
Club will meet by Zoom only effective Oct. 22

The Rotary Club of Westerville temporarily will hold its weekly luncheons online only, via Zoom, effective Oct. 22.
The Public Health Advisory Alert for Franklin County on Oct. 15 was raised to Level 3 (Red), indicating a "very high" local risk to exposure to and spread of the novel Coronavirus. In accordance with Rotary International and Rotary Club of Westerville policies, we've paused all in-person, indoor club meetings.
We will return to in-person meetings as soon as permitted by public health guidelines. By board-adopted policy, we will resume hybrid lunch meetings at the Old Bag of Nails (and on Zoom) upon the second Thursday following the county's return to a Advisory Alert Level 2 (Orange) or lower. Keep up with the local Coronavirus Alert status at covid-19.myfcph.org.
In the meantime, STAY HEALTHY, and stay tuned for further announcements from the club – here and in The Rotogram.
