Students Of The Month

Great kids, great honor from the Rotary Club of Westerville

During the school year (October through May), the Rotary Club of Westerville honors four students from local high schools each month. Working with the local high school principals and counselors, one student each month is chosen from Westerville Central, Westerville North, Westerville South and St. Francis DeSales high schools.

The students, their parents and the school administrators are introduced and honored at our first weekly luncheon each month.

The Rotary Club of Westerville extends its congratulations to these outstanding students and their families, and our thanks to our Westerville City School District and DeSales administrators for their ongoing participation in the Students of the Month program.

We had a fantastic meeting today with almost 40 club members in attendance! Ann Bischoff shared what's happening with @starhousecolumbus, Central Ohio's only drop-in center for youth, ages 14-24, who are experiencing homelessness and their small children. The update includes the opening of the Carol Stewart Village in Franklinton. Their top needs right now are new clothing donations, mentors, grocery store driving service provided by a church or established organization, and donations since funding is being cut and needs are greater because of the pandemic. See starhouse.us/donate to learn more. ... See MoreSee Less
