More than 300 runners and walkers participated on a beautiful fall morning Saturday, Nov. 2, in the 2019 Rotary Honors Veterans 5K Walk/Run at Alum Creek Park North, 221 W. Main St.
Veteran groups benefiting from race proceeds this year were Honor Flight Columbus, Buckeye Military Moms/Blue Star Mothers of America and USO of Central and Southern Ohio.
Money raised by the club through the event goes to our Rotary Foundation, which supports our college scholarships program for local high school grads.
Chase Bank again for 2019 was the event’s Presenting Sponsor.
