Our THIRD THURSDAY social and fellowship meeting returns this month from 5:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, Feb. 17at Jimmy V’s Grill & Pub.

There is no formal program for the evening meeting. It’s just a casual get-together, to hang out and catch up with your fellow Rotary Club members. The social replaces our regular lunch Feb. 17 – so do not head to Villa Milano at noon!

The monthly Third Thursday socials are great for members who have trouble getting to our regular noon meetings. They also are an awesome way to introduce prospective members to the club and to Rotary. So if we haven’t seen you for lunch in a while, please attend this evening meeting. If you have a friend who would make a great Rotarian, bring them along!

For the Feb. 17 Third Thursday, we have reserved Jimmy V’s private dining room. It’s near the State Street entrance to the cozy Uptown eatery at the southwest corner of State Street and College Avenue – right next to Westerville City Hall. Park on State Street, in the adjacent City Hall parking lot, or in any of the nearby lots Uptown.

Those of us looking to grab a bite or drink can take advantage of separate-check service from the Jimmy V’s staff. The full Jimmy V’s Grill & Pub menu and drink service will be available. Check the selection at jimmyvswesterville.com/menu

We unfortunately were unable to get together for a social in December and January, so we hope to see everyone Uptown Feb. 17 for our Rotary Club of Westerville Third Thursday social.

Catch you from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17 at Jimmy V’s Westerville Grill & Pub, 1 S. State St.

The Rotary Club of Westerville is accepting applications for new membership.

The best way to pursue membership is to contact an existing Club member and attend one of our lunches or events as her or his guest. Members of the public also are welcome to attend our events on their own, to see what our service club is all about. If possible, please give notice of your intent to attend a luncheon or social by emailing WestervilleRotaryEvents@gmail.com. Learn more about Rotary International at Rotary.org.

We hope to see you soon!
